Custom URL Filters: Directory Keyword

Hi Oleg,

I love OE (2.1) and use it all the time. Although I have no problem using file keywords, the custom configuration of directory include/exclude keywords is not working. I have read the help file "Project Properties dialog: URL filters" and the secondary help file that appears when I click the "Custom configuration" link. The instructions are clear and resonable, and I follow them to no avail. I have tried a few different ways, both include and exclude scenarios, with and without the slashes "/". OE continues to download as if I were not restricting it to a particular directory... Is this a bug in the program or am I doing something wrong? Please advise or tell me if I should provide further details.

There is one thing to put attention to. If you find that images or some other files are being loaded even if they should be restricted in URL Filters, please look at the File Filters categories. Each of them has a Location box that can allow files of that type to be loaded from any site or according to URL Filters.

It is quite common that while most files are restricted by URL Filters, images are allowed to be loaded from any place.

If this doesn`t help, please tell me more details to:

Thank you!

Got it! Thank you! It wasn`t clear to me from the help files that I had to support my choice of URL Filters (directory keyword) with a location choice in the File Filters area. Maybe that can be improved for the next version. Many thanks for your prompt reply...

You are welcome! I will now improve the Help file text. Thank you!
