What should I do if I'm running out of space.

I estimate that the website is 300gb and I only have 150 gb available on my pc. However, I do have a 1 tb external drive and I don't want to directly download to my external drive because I don't want to heat it up and break it.

My question is that can I

1) download half of the website on my pc and then suspend it.
2) cut and paste the downloaded content from my pc to my external drive.
3) continue and finish download on my pc.
4) move the rest to my external drive?

thank you

Yes, I think that this way is the best approach. I think, it should make the download complete and correct, even if you would remove the downloaded folders - they will be recreated again.

Please only wait until all parsing operations will be finished after you click the Suspend button and then move the files.

Hi

I'm so sorry to bother you again. I have another question. I'm not sure what "used memory" is. Under system monitor, it says "used memory: 720,000kb". Is that ram memory? My PC has 2gb ram installed so should I be worried for having so little ram installed while running OE for 5 days non-stop.

thanks.

Yes, it is RAM. Going up may make processes slower on your computer, but you should not run our of RAM because of swapping with virtual memory.

However Offline Explorer is a 32-bit application and it will be unable to use more than 2 GB of RAM, no matter how much you have installed.

And also how come it pauses 10 seconds for every 2 seconds when parsing? Like it will queue 100 files and take 1-2 seconds to parse them. and then the status will say "Download complete. Status: 304 Not Modified" and stay that way for 8-15 seconds. Is there a way to stop the long pause.?

I have no idea yet. Can you please make some screenshots to show how this issue happens and looks? I will see what can be done.

Thank you!

Oleg.
