downloading parts of large site as separate projects with shared data

I am trying to download another relatively small part of the http://www.gamebanshee.com site but there is a lot of CSS and Joomla template data for the site itself. I of course don't want to redownload all of that each time I want to archive a specific section. I have started to download the new project to the same data directory in the hope that it won't redownload the existing files there. I do have the "don't download existing" option enabled. I am wondering if this is going to cause problems when I want to export this section in its own mht file that includes the shared data but not the other section data. Basically it is information about 2 different games on the same web site and I don't want any information from the first game to be mixed with the second game. What is the correct way to do this? Should I have copied the shared data to a separate directory for the new project?

Usually, such data do not interfere. The only case would be if the same URL would return different information depending on the page it was linked to or some cookie.

If this is not the case, do not worry about separating data. Duplicate data will be not downloaded for the second Project with the "Do not load existing files" mode. Each Project will export all data it has linked to it, even if a file is shared between two Projects.

The only problem could be if you delete a project, it removes all its files, even if some of them are used by another Project. You should be careful with this.
