When I try to download from http://www.mysite.com, OE (Enterprise 6.9) downloads pages from any sites referred to from within http://www.mysite.com pages.
Eg. if http://www.mysite.com/index.htm has a link to http://www.flickr.com/user/stuff.htm, OE will create an offline copy of that file and folder. OE will not then download any other files or folder referred to by stuff.htm.
If http://www.mysite.com/index.htm has a link to http://mysite.com/stuff.htm, (or http://ww1.mysite.com) then all links and branches to any levels are downloaded, but those outside http://*.mysite.com are loaded to one level only, as above.
What I want, is ONLY pages from http://www.mysite.com to be downloaded, and any external links referring to other domain or other servers to point to the original internet URLS.
I want to end up with only www.mysite.com as a single directory-tree in my designated download folder.
In terms of filters, I have the following set:
Protocols: HTTP and HTTPS protocols only.
Servers: Load files only within starting SERVER; Untick Load up to x links
Directories: Load files only within the starting directory and below.
Link Conversion: Online conversion (What does Mixed do differently?)
What am I doing wrong?

Yes, online conversion is necessary for that. Also, please go through all File Filters categories and set Location to "Load using URL Filters" there.
Mixed doesn't change not downloaded links - they may point online or to / folder, etc.
