Extract .boe file

Hello,

I tried to restore .boe file but it takes very long time, can I extract it using another application?

I tested on a relatively small (20 MBs) .boe file and the restore process was almost 2 times faster than the Windows-built UNZIP.

I made some improvements, which I doubt would increase speed greatly.

Anyway, perhaps, the slow down happens on huge files. Could you upload your .boe file to some file-sharing service, so I could reproduce this problem and see what actual code slows down a lot?

I already deleted original project files, only left with this file. In my PC, OE only extract 2000+ files per hour, this .boe file have 200.000+ files, so I need 100+ hours to extract all files (download time only 4 days)

Please help me with this

I downloaded the files. You may remove them from 4shared.

It is really a very slow process. It extracts only 1-2 files per second. While on smaller backups it works at least at speed of 40-50 files/second.

I will work to optimize this now. Thank you for the good sample!

I was able to improve the speed a lot. Your file should be imported in about 2 hours on my computer.

Once this finishes, I will check for possible errors and if no of them ae found, I will post the updated version here.

END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

MetaProducts Systems ("MPS") agrees to provide the user ("USER") with a copy of this software product ("SOFTWARE"), and grants the USER a limited license to use the SOFTWARE. LICENSE OF UNREGISTERED SOFTWARE

INVALID PROVISIONS

If any provision of this LICENSE shall be declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this LICENSE shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. In such event, each provision of this LICENSE which is invalid or unenforceable shall be replaced with a provision as similar in terms to such invalid or unenforceable provision as may be possible which is legal and enforceable.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This LICENSE is the entire agreement between MPS and the USER, and supersedes any other agreement, oral or written, and may not be changed except by a written signed agreement.

GOVERNING LAW

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
