Cannot download forum attachments, cannot login to forums

I emailed the support team but also wanted to post the question here:

I am trying your product to see if it fits my needs. I would like an offline downloader that downloads everything, including attachments in forums. I am a registered member of the forum and I supply the user/password of the forum.

Offline Explorer Enterprise cannot download the attachments in the forums, it cannot login even though I provide the user/password. Instead of the download I get password required pages.

Can you please provide a concrete solution? Otherwise it is not worth for me to buy this product.

An example forum that I am trying to download with the attachments is:

http://www.....com/

Registration is free.

For example, the following linked attachment cannot be downloaded.

http://www.....com/attachments/.../file.ext

Can you find a solution? Please let me know a.s.a.p.

In most cases it is enough to logon the forum online in the Internal browser of Offline Explorer and then start downloading it. If this doesn''t help, try this:

You can record the logon form contents in a Project, so that Offline Explorer will know how to log itself on whenever you wish to download the site. This is useful when you want to schedule the site download or perform it later, or if you want to update the downloaded site in the future.

Once you have entered your username and password on the logon page in the internal browser, press and hold the Alt + Ctrl keys on your keyboard, click the Logon (or Submit) button in the Web form and release the keyboard buttons. You should get a new Project that contains the Web form information recorded in the URL field.

Adjust the Project settings as you wish (set the Level and other parameters) and click the OK button to save the Project. You may begin downloading at any time.

It is also recommended to make sure that the "Use alternate connection method" box is checked in the Internet tab of the Ribbon.

Note: The form recording method is supported only in the Pro and Enterprise editions of Offline Explorer.
