OE doesn''t work properly

Hi Oleg!

I''m a registered user of OE since a few years. I used OE 3.9 in a Windows Server with two cores. I wanted to upload so I have installed several versions of OE in this computer in a few days but any of those works properly.

When I start the program works fine but in a couple of minutes the program does not answer so finally I have to kill it. It doent consum too much memory (80 Mb), OE 3.9 was 400 Mb.

I thought the reason wold be the registry of windows was dirty so I cleaned but the problem is still there.

Can I ask you to try the latest version:

That version is Offline Professional, I use the Entreprise Edition.

Can you try the following changes in 5.6 version:

1. Change the "Use alternative download method" box state in the Internet tab of the Ribbon.
2. Uncheck the Properties dialog - "Index downloaded files for faster search" box in all Projects that you are going to download.

Would this change anything?

If not, please run it from command line:

oe.exe /log=c:\download\oe.log

once it hangs, stop its process and send me the log file (zipped, please). I sent you an e-mail in reply to the uninstall quiz. Please use that E-mail address.
