Hello,

Can offline explorer pro or enterprise edition capture http://mediasite.com/ presentations for offline viewing?

I know it is possible to capture the video, but can you capture the slides so that they SYNC with the video just like in the streaming presentation???

Thank you!!

Unfortunately, the site is very hard for the download. Offline Explorer Pro was able to get the video and images, but it failed to reproduce the entire presentation synced when browsing offline.

Any chance you will be upgrading the software to be able to browse this type of presentation offline in the future?

Can you help me understand technically why it doesn't work?

I have found this site:
http://all-streaming-media.com/faq/recording-media-stream/faq-saving-streaming-media-with-slides.htm

but I do not understand which issue is the problem, and if there is a work-around.

Thank you.

There is a Flash video player that does the sync inside of its code. Offline Explorer can get some links from the Flash applet, say, to get the video.

However sync code stops working offline. I am not sure I can do something with this. Flash files were designed for online usage, so it is hard to make them working offline properly.

Offline Explorer does its best to do necessary adjustments in Flash, but this doesn't work always.

Other applications will not help either. This is a very well known problem with no good solution yet. You can use Offline Explorer to download the site and the videos and then use the Project Map to browse the Video files.
