Hello my name is Jose.I?m from Spain.I?m having many trobleshoting for download files in root directory of a server.
I?m downloading files from MicrosoftTechnet, but only for a few directories.I use directory filter with the name of directories that I need. The problem is that this pages all are aspx file extension and include links to js and css files that have aspx extension as the same on the hull site. This js and css files are in the root directory of the server, and they don?t downloaded. If I include the server name as a directory,OEE download all files and Directories of the root server, and I don?t want that.
The project url: is a subsection of Technet)

File Filters:I probe many forms
-Load using URL file filter(the last used) and Load from the starting server, whit no result
All other type file from any site

Directories URL Filters:

The file that don?t download are and and they aren?t the same for all pages, has diferent name, and if they aren?t download and for example, the user not have Internet conection, the web pages are not well viewed. If I use as a Directories URL filter the other settings are not valid and download all site. Can you help me?

Another questions. This aspx pages are all XML based that I can?t view in a normal way whith IExplorer or Firefox,I view the XML code, not the contet like a normal web page.Well this is not very exactly(in Firefox I can but not in IE).Whit the internal web browser of OEE I can view it well. And in both said that "there?s a problem whith the current page" related to "&" sustitution that OEE do in links and name files.Well, whith normal page no problem but whith XML and related to this,it is a BIG problem.

I would suggest you to use only:

In the Directory filters keywords list. And select "Load from any site" for File Filters - User Defined to allow CSS and JS files.

Regarding XML - can you please give me a particular example of a URL that gives this error when viewing offline?

Thank you!

I see now. Let's allow all directories and use Filename keywords:

This should work.

Thank you very much.!The project funtion now!I don?t understand it but it?s ok.And
What about the problem related to XML problem. Why I see the aspx file as a XML code and not as a normal web page, only in Internet Explorer, not in Firefox(this is not true, the page have two frames, one for the principal content, and other for a TOC,I view only the principal, the TOC has the same problem as IE).
I download a few page of the project as normal download(save as..)through Firefox and IE and the page are well viewed, full web page, not XML code. You can test it if you like whith the first page of my project if you want.

I suspect that come file is missing or was incorrectly loaded. I would suggest you to select the Project that partially downloaded the site, click the AutoSave button on the Internal Browser toolbar and then click Browse. Offline Explorer Pro should download missing files.
