Hi,

Firestly, I should say that offline explorer is one of the greatest sites downloaders I ever used.
However, I used every option to download a whole book of this great site and failed.
http://dli.iiit.ac.in/

I hope you could help me in this.

Thanks,

rashway

I think, this should be simple. Browse to any book on this site online, right-click the image that shows the page, choose Properties and copy the image URL. Like:

http://dli.iiit.ac.in//server25/data/upload/PAR/IIIT/RMSC_PAR_DVD_171_TO_199/Rmsc-Par-Cd176-t/10118_Aya_Prabhaavamu/PTIFF/00000003.tif

Now change the last portion of the URL the following way to load all images (this book has from 1 to 144):

http://dli.iiit.ac.in//server25/data/upload/PAR/IIIT/RMSC_PAR_DVD_171_TO_199/Rmsc-Par-Cd176-t/10118_Aya_Prabhaavamu/PTIFF/00000{:001..144}.tif

Create a new Project with that URL that uses the above URL Macro and download it.

You will be able to browse the book using the Project Map.

Mr. Oleg

Thank you for useful and fast reply.
But, I need to download tens of books in one project.
Is there any way to do this ?

I am afraid, you will have to collect the first-page images URLs manually and then you will be able to create a Project based on it.

Dear Sir:

Now they have made some changes in their site. The url structure is not like the above.
It is like this:

http://dli.iiit.ac.in/cgi-bin/Browse/scripts/use_scripts/advnew/aui/bookreader_india/bookReader_test.cgi?barcode=5010010055527

How does one use it for automatic downloading now?
Any reply will be appreciated.

Something is wrong - when I browse to this URL I get:

Forbidden
You don''t have permission to access /server25/data/mnt/disk_121/NORMALDATA/SVI/SVDL_AUG07/KANADA/priiti__/PTIFF/00000001.tif on this server.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/1.3.31 Server at localhost Port 80

Anyway, you may try this solution - select the Project that partially downloaded the site, click the AutoSave button on the Internal Browser toolbar and then click Browse. Offline Explorer Pro should download missing files.
