Forms at www.roman-empire.net

Hi,

I am trying to download www.roman-empire.net, but the forms don`t work.

For example the page http://www.roman-empire.net/maps/map-italy.html contains the following in the online version:

<form method="post" action="http://www.roman-empire.net/cgi-bin/click-go/clickgo.cgi">
<select name="goto" size="1">
<option selected value="">Please make your Choice</option>
<option value="http://www.roman-empire.net/maps/italy/bruttium.html">Bruttium</option>
:
</select>
<input type="submit" value="GO!">
</form>

and the following in the offline version:

<form method="post" action="../cgi-bin/click-go/clickgo.cgi">
<select name="goto" size="1">
<option selected value="">Please make your Choice</option>
<option value="http://www.roman-empire.net/maps/italy/bruttium.html">Bruttium</option>
:
</select>
<input type="submit" value="GO!">
</form>

I have explore html forms on, and unlimited depth (within server).

There are two downloaded files that seem to be what should be linked to the form given above:

<download dir>\www.roman-empire.net\cgi-bin\click-go\clickgo.cgi@goto=http_3A_2F_2Fwww.roman-empire.net_2Fmaps_2Fitaly_2Fbruttium.html

<download dir>\www.roman-empire.net\maps\italy\bruttium.html@goto=http_3A_2F_2Fwww.roman-empire.net_2Fmaps_2Fitaly_2Fbruttium.html

So it looks like OE is downloading the destination files, but not linking them into the downloaded form?

No browser supports working with forms from the hard disk. It is impossible to send a POST request to a hard disk file or directory. So, forms linking will work only inside Offline Explorer - with the help of its Internal Web server.
