downloading php forums

Hi Oleg & MP community
im trying to download whole php forum but with no results.... lets look at

http://forums.shareconnector.com/index.php?sid=15c8a640df3f2c3332dcde02a25e048b

so there is some subforums. For example i wanna down "Clients / Donkey Discussions" subforum. How to do that ? I have thought that best way to do this is download pages only with specific keyword -in this case "Clients / Donkey Discussions" - but cant find this option in OEE. There is only keywords for directory , file but no for word on site :(

I think, the best way would be to specify the following starting URL:

http://forums.shareconnector.com/index.php?c=2

Uncheck Level setting and add the following two keywords to the URL Filters | Filename | Included keywords list:

viewforum.php
viewtopic.php

This should be enough.

okx Oleg but .... u taid to down all files ( by filter) with viewforum.php viewtopic.php but these files ARENT specific ONLY for these subforum which i wanna down - ALL forum has viewforum.php and viewtopic.php files so it isnt "wildcard" I think that its impossible to donw sites like this - here we need somfing like word filter in OEE which allow us to specify special words on site. Is that word exist - thes site is downloaded - if no - then OEE dont down this site. Is it bad idea ?

There is the "word filter" - Content Filters in the Project Properties dialog. You can use it as well.

My suggestion regarding the two keywords was because you should have started exactly from the section you want and I think that this section doesn`t contain links to other topics or forums.

Also, the links to the home page are not allowed, so Offline Explorer should not go beyond the defined range.

Oleg but this "word filter" isnt exactly what i mean - it is only "media type filter" - NOT "specific WORD-ON-SITE filter. When i put in OEE http://forums.shareconnector.com/index.php?c=2 as U said and started down then in queue tab i saw TONS of links out of section "Clients / Donkey Discussions" which lead to:
- PM (private message)
- user profiles
- and tons of other unwanted stuff

Its impossible (in PHP forums - IMHO) to start in one subsection and avoid to be redirected (by external links) to other subsection. I can give simple example. We wanna download whole "Games" subforum. Lets say that one guy post there thread (in "Games" subforum ) and ask for patch to FIFA 2004 - ok other guy answer and write that patches are in "Patches" subforum and he gives link to "Patches" subforum (btw 1st guy is happy cos have link directly to wanted FIFA2004 patch :) This situation leads OOE to OTHER UNWANTED subforum (other words - subsection) and this way after some minutes we have over 10000 links (files) in Queue Tab :(
So i think the best way to avoid these situation is to specify special words which we wanna on site... look at this screen ----> http://www.kontener.neostrada.pl/oee.jpg these words in red should be in "wildcard filter" and here ----? http://www.kontener.neostrada.pl/oee2.jpg is inside thread - here in red are specific WANTED words too :) I think that IT is a difference between my mean of "word filter" and Urs :)
If there is this feature in OEE then show me it but if no - then i think it will be great if U put it in this awesome program :)

I think that you need to follow my advice above. Using it, no PM messages, profiles, etc. will be loaded - only forum messages and topics.

yes BUT forum messages and topics from ALL forum`s section - i dont wanna ALL

Yes, you are right. Some of the messages in this forum contain links to topics in other forums and much of the unwanted stuff will be loaded.

The only easy way is to set Level to 3. You will get all topics in the wanted forums and some (small amount) of other topics.

Yes but it will not solve problems - this way we WILL NOT down all we want - only some stuff :(

Please tell me Oleg is it bad idea to add "word-on-site filter" to next releases of OEE ? I think this feature WILL fix all problems with downloading these kind of forums

There is a "word-on-site filter" feature in Offline Explorer - please look at the Content Filters section in the Project Properties dialog. Is it what you need?

plz show me "word-on-site filter" here ----> http://www.kontener.neostrada.pl/cont.jpg i see here only text filter - by extension. Where can i put specific word like "eD2k Discussion" ?? like on this site -----> http://www.kontener.neostrada.pl/oee.jpg

ups.... i checked that my version was old...too old - now i downloaded 3.4 ver and there see content filter - now go to check its work :)))
