i did not see the software with mmst capability from the link you provided.
could you name the software that could download mmst protocol?
|Oleg Chernavin||02/17/2004 04:59 am|
|We hoped to implement it long time ago, but it took much more time that we thought initially. So, I can`t tell you any exact version or date yet. Sorry.
Anyway, we still working on this.

|All the software except OEP-OEE and R7C have the ability to download MMS(TCP) Protocol.
They all have their good points and bad points. There is no one program that works with all streams.
These would all be good choices to start out with for Windows Media streams.
In most recorder programs you need to remove the t after mmst and just use mms. They will use MMS(TCP) Protocol to download. If that doesn`t work some programs will automatically switch to MMS(HTTP) Protocol to download, and in others you will have to set them to that protocol.
MMS(HTTP) Protocol is what OEP-OEE currently uses.

|I think that this file doesn`t exist on the server anymore. This is why you cannot download it. MS Media Player also cannot display the video.

|No special configuration is required. Just add a new Project with the URL that begins from mmst:// and download it.
