Hi,

How can i use mass loader with OE, i tried but it did not seem to work.

Happy New Year!

This is not hard - you can set Offline Explorer to download certain types of files with Mass Downloader - just open the desired Project Properties dialog and go to a File Filters section that conains the type of files you want. Select "Load only the selected file sizes", then check "Maximum size" box and then check "Load with Mass Downloader" box below.

Now Offline Explorer will pass downloading the desired files to Mass Downloader.

Do not forget to click OK button when you finished making changes in the Project Properties dialog.

Does it mean when the maximum file size is detected, mass downloader will download them?
And, what about when is file size is greater than the pre-defined maximum size does it still load by mass downloader or will it be skipped?

This means that if the file size is less than the specified maximum, it will be loaded by Offline Explorer. Bigger files will be skipped or passed to Mass Downloader if you check the corresponding box.

Related Question:
Do the links downloaded with MD get added to the map used by OE. This would be necessary, if the project were to be updated later, or parsed for missing files.

No, these files do not get added to the Map, because it is possible that Mass Downloader loads the file later when Offline Explorer quits.

Yes, that happens. Any workarounds or fixes for this?
