hi, how to tell the program not to save unwanted html pages. there are links to jpg and pdfs on those html pages which i want to capture, but ultimately the html pages are not useful. is there anyway the program to delete the pages automatically once the links are abstracted? right now, the pages are loaded and saved, and i have to manually delete them afterwards using windows explorer?

please advise

If you don`t need all HTML pages at all, only images, then uncheck the whole File Filters | Text category on the left tree of the Project Properties dialog. This will force Offline Explorer to load Web pages, get links to other allowed files, but not save Web pages.

i am sorry, but i am not i understand. for example, if in example1.html has a link to example2.html, and on example2.html there is a jpg i wanted. if i uncheck the filter box, will the program still capture the jpg? i thought if the filter filter is turned off, example2.html will not getting loaded ever so the jpg will not be captured? please advise

No. If you open the Project Properties dialog, you will see several categories under File Filters. They all have checkboxes in the tree. If you uncheck only Text category, then Offline Explorer will still load HTML files, but not save them - only extract links to continue downloading. This is a special setting.
