When downloading large files like videos, if download gets broken there is no way to resume a file thats partially downloaded...instead download starts from beginning..

If you mean streaming videos, then they should get saved partially if download stops. When you restart the download, Offline Explorer should resume the download from the break point, if the server allows that.

We didn`t do that for other files, because it is useless in most cases to keep broken HTML files, which get updated often.

No I dont mean streaming videos, i mean any video file that can be downloaded to your hard drive using http protocol. eg. http://www.mysite.com/members/videos/1.mpg if the following video was 50 mb an i used offline explorer to download it, if the download was interupted i would not be able to resume the download using ofline explorer. hope this is clear...

Yes, I see. Offline Explorer will make one retry to continue downloading from the stop point. If the attempt fails, it will start loading other files, moving the failed one to the end of the queue.

For the best result downloading big files, I would recommend you to use Mass Downloader - to find a link to download it simply click the PRODUCTS link above.
