I am using OE Enterprise 2.9. For several files such as:
http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/iel5/90/27488/01224462.pdf?isNumber=27488&prod=JNL&arnumber=1224462&arSt=+638&ared=+649&arAuthor=Sarkar%2C+U.K.%3B+Ramakrishnan%2C+S.%3B+Sarkar%2C+D.
http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/iel5/90/27187/01208297.pdf?isNumber=27187&prod=JNL&arnumber=1208297&arSt=+341&ared=+355&arAuthor=Shudong+Jin%3B+Liang+Guo%3B+Matta%2C+I.%3B+Bestavros%2C+A.
I see they are queued and downloaded, however after beeing downloaded, they are not saved in the local disk... I guuest that because of the long file name. Anyone have ideas ?
Sorry for my unpatience... but I really need to download the IEEE papers.
I give you more information here. The file that are queued adn downloaded but not apper in project map as well as localdisk is such as
"http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/iel5/90/27488/01224461.pdf?isNumber=27488&prod=JNL&arnumber=1224461&arSt=+628&ared=+637&arAuthor=Sichitiu%2C+M.L.%3B+Bauer%2C+P.H.%3B+Premaratne%2C+K."
"http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/iel5/90/27488/01224465.pdf?isNumber=27488&prod=JNL&arnumber=1224465&arSt=+676&ared=+686&arAuthor=Kodialam%2C+M.%3B+Lakshman%2C+T.V.%3B+Sengupta%2C+S."
however, this file is OK:
"http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/iel5/90/18503/00851982.pdf?isNumber=18503&prod=JNL&arnumber=851982&arSt=362&ared=372&arAuthor=Mayer%2C+A.%3B+Ofek%2C+Y.%3B+Yung%2C+M."
Can you give me your idea ? it is urgent now
Hoang
I don`t know why the file name has the character &.p.r.o.d.=.J.N.L. (the point (.) mask is added by me) but when I copy them here and send in the mail, it become sanitized_by_modx& #8719=JNL. Maybe this is a hint for you to detect the problem ?

I am sorry for the delay. I just fixed the problem.
Can you please download the updated version here:
http://www.metaproducts.com/download/betas/oee1318.zip
Unzip the file and replace the old oe.exe file with the new one. Please let me know how it downloads such URLs now.
Thank you.
Best regards,

Oleg.
I downloaded and tried the new version (1318) that you suggest but the problem is still not solved. I tried the new version relseased on Oct 13 (OE 2.9 R2 1322) but it is the same. So... is there any mistake in your code ? or we didn`t talk the same bug of OE ???

Yes, I redownload the same URL and have the same problem. Some file appear in queue and downloaded but not in local disk, neither in project map
Oleg.
Just a thought: the URLs contain special characters (e.g. "%2C" ). I have noticed that embedded URLs don`t always copy "properly" to the address bar in IE, embedded IE or Mozilla - special characters are shown in the form "%xx", as they are stored in HTML, rather than the actual human-readable character (all browsers I have tried act the same way in this respect) Does OEE handle these correctly? (If memory serves me correctly, I have had to convert them manually)
