Post processing

Hi,

In the release notes for OE Ent 2.7 SP1 it is mentioned you can perform
Post processing of downloaded Web sites. I cannot find this option. How can
I find this functionality? Can I run a program against a specific file downloaded or just the whole web site?

Dear Duncan Godwin,

Thank you for asking. Yes, post processing is available using the Tools | Data mining menu. Offline Explorer can pass downloaded Web site to TextPipe utility that will process HTML and text files and convert them according to the desired rules or extract certain values from them.

Hi Again,

Would it be possible to add the functionality to run an optional executable after each web page or project has finished? This would allow for other custom processing.

Yes, sure. You can specify the following parameter after the URL:

RunAfter=c:\dir\file.exe

You can read more on it in the Help file.
