A one key shortcut or click button that allows to instantly save a copy of the most recent version of the page one is just looking at from the inquiry archive (without first surfing to this page manually).

Do you mean Tools - Update Page?

yes, that`s basically it, only that it does overwrite the snapshot and not add a new one

And as I found out, it can only done with one selected page.

Well, we didn`t make Inquiry as an automated tool. It is more an enhanced Favorites system with many handy features. We continue developing Offline Explorer as a more automated tool.

Thanks for the info. It would be great to see some of the inquiry functionality appearing in the next OE version :-)

Which features do you mean?

I find the way that inquiry saves a page pretty appealing (everything packed into on zip file). That would be nice to have in OE as well.

You can export the pages to a zip file. The main reason why Offline Explorer doesn`t do that in a real time when downloading sites is because it will take a long time to update older files in a zip archive.

Is there any easy way to emulate the behaviour of inquiry using OE? Like making a snapshot of a single web page and exporting it so it can be used later on for offline viewing? The reason I am asking is that I am working on something that might require to make snapshots of 500.000 web pages and each snapshot would need to be seperately saved for human compliance checks.

Yes, if you download a page with Level=0, this will load the page with its styles and images and only that page.
