Making a snapshot of the news page http://www.spiegel.de and then exporting it as html results in a number of broken img src tags. Could you please check this?
Thx
Stefan

Which images do you mean on that page? I exported it and it shows well.
Oleg.

Please look at the two screenshots that I made of the page shown in Inquiry and the resulting page that I have exported to HTML then shown in standard IE:

We fixed the problem with the images display inside Inquiry, however they will still fail after the export because of a complex script in the pages.
Oleg.

I haven`t had any problems with the display within Inquiry, only when I exported these saved webpages to HTML
Stefan

We had some missing images in Inquiry. We tried to fix the export, but it is almost impossible, because the script uses random numbers to load advertisement.
Oleg.

	Two quick things:
If fixing isn`t possible, why not use a blank gif that is inserted instead of the broken img src tags ?
Did you check it against the other URLs I posted in this forum ?
Thx
Stefan

There is no way to insert a blank image there, because the script randomly chooses an image from an ads server to insert there.
Oleg.

ok, understood that. I have some ideas on how to make the best out of it. Will post them here when I have a free minute :-)
