Uninvited file download offers

Recently, when openning some websites, DownloadExpress pops open with the notice that unrecognized file(s) are waiting to be downloaded or installed. Two of these have been named "glow.zip" and "classic.zip". Attempting to cancel this action results in the website being closed, then reopened and the whole process repeats. Only closing the web browser (Internet Explorer 9) stops the endless cycle.

Allowing the download, but not installing, results in folders named as above, containing a number of files. No "text" of explanation.

I have not been able to find an explanation for this, nor a solution other than removing DownloadExpress.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

James Raymond,

Thank you for writing us.
Please go to the Download Express Options dialog, Integration tab. Set the "Monitor clicks with hotkey only" box and click the OK button.

Now DE will appear for clicks with depressed hotkey only (Ctrl+Alt) by default. It shouldn't popup at this problem site.

Best regards,
Alexander
