Download express keeps losing it`s connection

I began a large download and it was downloading great but then came to an end with the message that it was out of tries. Now i cannot resume my download and it won`t begin any new downloads from this site. I had this problem before with another program i was using to download with. What can I do? I sthere a setting I need to be using?

Please go to the Download Express Options, Connection page. Please set the Limit Number of Retries parameter to 100, click the OK button.
