Thank you.

Thank you for writing us.
When you click a download link, please select the "Save this program to
disk" item in the Download File dialog (with a locomotive picture and the
"Personal Edition" text,) then click the OK button.
Download Express will show the Save As dialog.
Sincerely,
Alexander.

I followed your instructions and it does change the destination folder. BUT every time I do this with any downloadable program, it goes through all 10 attempts to download and it cannot download it. Whereas, if I just click on the link to download the program, the DE window opens up with the destination being C Windows Temp and it downloads it straightaway.
What is going on ?
Thank you.
William
Could you please tell me your Download Express version number? Please also send me the link for a test.
Thank you!
Alexander
My Download Express Version 1.9.0.337
I downloaded it recently.
I tried all the download links on this page with the same results that I described in my previous post.

I hope you can solve this basic problem. Thank you.
William
We made several tests but cannot reproduce this problem. What is your browser name and version?
If it is Internet Explorer version 6 or higher, please try the following:
1. Go to the Download Express Options dialog, Integration page
2. Set the "Use alternative integration" box and click the OK button
Then please test your downloads and write me about the result.
Thank you,
Alexander
My Internet Explorer Version 6.0.2800.1106
My microprocessor is a GenuineIntel Pentium II 350 MHz
I followed your instructions. No change.
I restarted the computer. No change.
William
Thank you for your feedback.
Could you please uninstall Download Express, reboot your system and install Mass Downloader?
You can download it from: http://www.metaproducts.com/download/mdsetup.exe
Please test it on these links and write me about the result.
Thank you!
I followed your instructions. I right clicked on the Download link. I clicked on Mass Downloader: download this file.
But I could not find a way to change the destination directory !!!
William
Which dialog do you after you click the link?
Thanks,
Alexander
Can you please explain ?
William
The picture of the first one is: http://www.metaproducts.com/download/Image1.gif
The picture of the second one is: http://www.metaproducts.com/download/Image2.gif
Which one do you see in Mass Downloader when you click the link in the browser?
Thanks,
Alexander
You can use the Set As Default box to remember your selection for future use.
Alexander
William
Thanks,
Alexander
At the top of the above web page there is a downloadable program called RoboForm 6.6. At the right there is a hyperlink which is called DOWNLOAD NOW
I right clicked on this Download link. From the menu options that appeared, I clicked on Mass Downloader: download this file.
The dialog window that came up was Image2.gif
-----
The odd thing now is that when I click on Mass Downloader: download this file, the About Mass Downloader Window comes up and the Mass Downloader program crashes.
I rebooted the computer to see if there is any change but the same thing has happened.
William
Could you please return to Download Express?
Please go to the Download Express Options dialog, Integration page. Then please click the button Default Types. Click the OK button.
Then please test your downloads and write me about the result.
Thanks,
Alexander
