|I could not delete download express with my (XP home) add/delete programs so I went through the process of deleting the folder. Everything will delete except for mdpph.dll which says it is in use or write protected. How can I rid myself of this .dll file? I had no real problems with the program overall, I simply started using a high-speed cable modem and it simply was no longer necessary. Thanks for all of your help in advance.|

Windows locks this file and does not allow to remove it directly.
The correct Download Express uninstallation uses the special procedure to ask Windows to remove this file on the next reboot. Just uninstall Download Express using the standard way and then reboot your Windows.
