Impossible to download zip file from www.palmgear.com for exemple.
The windows of DE appears, the download begins and never ends.
Sometimes the name of the downloaded file is not well filled in the save box( OPEN and not toto.zip)

I have re-installed the version 1.8 downloaded today (the size of the file has changed, but the version remains 1.8 b 331. ?????
The problem persists.
Try to use this link : http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.redirector2&file=FileZ68.zip&type=zip&prodid=9992&prodname=FileZ&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&siteid=1# and press the button "Download as a guest". The download begins and stop with a error "Imppsible de telecharger le fichier filez68.zip" in French. I use Maxthon 1.3.1 as navigator.
An other problem with the name of the file. Try this link: http://www.alertegps.com/Download.asp?a=ar&s=&f=navman and press the button "Telecharger le fichier". The window of DE appears with the name "down_file.asp" filled as "save as" name. I don`t change this name because I don`t know the true name of the file that I want to download. So if I click OK, the download begins and ends well and the effective name saved on my hard disk is the good name " navman.zip" (not down_file.asp).

Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce this problem. Download Express downloads this file OK.
Could you please make the log file?
To make the downloading log please open "logging.reg" file from the
http://www.metaproducts.com/download/logging.zip archive.
Download Express will create the log file in the downloading folder. It will
have the same name as the downloaded file and the .LOG extension. When this problem repeats,
please find the corresponding log file, pack it using WinZip or similar application and
email it to support@metaproducts.com with a short problem description.
Then you can use "Nologging.reg" file to switch off the logging feature.

It is not a problem. At the time your browser send a link to Download Express it does know the real name of the file. Download Express connects to the server and server returns the right name. Download Express renames the file on disk.
