I recently downloaded a 1.2gb video file in .zip format.
The problem is that after i got the download complete message, i couldn`t open
the file because it said it was an incomplete file and still needed downloading by resuming it
from the start menu under the incomplete downloads folder.
I can`t find my file there. I am very sure that my file was completely downloaded.
Can someone please help me out here?

Nicholas,

Thank you for writing us.
Could you please tell me your Download Express version number?

Please try the following:
1. Go to the download folder, find the incomplete file with the .DE extension (if you do not see it, please allow Windows Explorer to show the hidden files: Tools | Folder Options | View | "Show hidden files and folders" and also uncheck the "Hide file extensions for known file types" box, click the OK button.)
2. Remove the .DE addition from the file name
3. Open the file

Please write us about the result. Thank you.

My download express version is 1.3.0.119

I tried your method and succesfully changed the file back into the .zip extension.
However winzip still couldn`t unzip the file stating that is was not a valid archive.
What else can i do?

Many thanks
