Have downloaded this but am not sure how to integrate with DE, can you give me a tip how to do this so I can work with my favorite DE and my now favorite browser FF ?!
Cheers !
- Install DownloadWith (eg. by dragging the .xpi file onto the FF browser window)
- Shutdown FF andf restart it.
- Connect to the Internet
- Select Tools->Extensions
- Select DownloadWith and choose Options
- Click Create new application, and choose MetaProducts Download Express from the list of sample configurations
- IF you haven`t installed DE to the default location, you`ll have to change the Command editbox to the location of dep.exe
- On the Automatic download tab you can set it to Disable, All files or specific files. If it`s set to Disable, you will be asked how you want to download the file (ie. standard FF download, using DE)
That`s it.
Thank you very much for your help.
BTW, we just released the first version of MetaProducts integration plugin for Mozilla FireFox 1.0.
You can download it from: http://www.metaproducts.com/download/betas/mpint.xpi
To install, please drag and drop it to FireFox from Windows Explorer. Restart FireFox.
Now you can use the link right-click menu item "Download Express: download this file." Also, FireFox will offer you to use Download Express to download files.

FYI, the problems I was having downloading from the CodeProject website was because DE uses IE cookies. Therefore (and this goes for most password protected sites that uses cookies), you have to login to the site with IE first (allowing cookies from this site, of course). Make sure you check the "Remember Me" (or something like this) box on the login page. You can then shutdown IE. After this, you should have no problems downloading from the password protected site using FF and DE.
Thank you for your feedback. We are aware of the FF cookies problem and have started the development of the solution. I hope it will be available in the next versions of our products.
Sincerely,
Alexander
Please upload here.

Filename is different, but it is the same extension.
The link is http://www.flashgot.net/features#dms_unsupp
Thank you for your information.
We develop our own FireFox extension. Please write us which features you want to see in it and we will add them in the future versions.
Sincerely,
Alexander
