Is their any installation switches that can be added to make the installation run in "silent" or quiet mode. We are considering rolling this out to some remote users and would like to make the process as simple as able for the end users.

Thanks.

Dear RJ Vance,

I am sorry for the delay.
Yes, we added this feture to the Download Express 1.6 version.
You can use /Silent and /SilentReboot command line switches.
The second one allows Download Express to reboot your computer without confirmation if the system restart is necessary to complete the installation (when system locks some files and DE installer cannot replace them without reboot.)
We plan to release Download Express 1.6 in a couple of days.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

I`ve tried this, with this batch line >Call "C:\Temp\desetup.exe" /silent< and it didn`t work :/
am I using the incorrect format?
even running from command line it didn`t work, still brought up the dialog window :(
(win xp sp1 ; desetup 1.6.273)

Dear John Douglas,

Thank you for writing us.
Please use exactly /Silent and /SilentReboot switches. They are case-sensitive.
Please write us about the result. Thank you.
