C:\WINNT\system32\MetaProducts\dep.exe /open ftp://ftp.host.com/files/file.zip - for example???
Thank you for writing us.
You can use the following command line:
dep.exe /PAUSEDURL=ftp://ftp.host.com/files/file.zip
Sincerely,
Alexander.

I have tryed your advice (dep.exe /PAUSEDURL=) - all works fine. But if Donload Express runs from the command-line with this switch it doesn`t ask destination folder to save file to... and it downloads file in Metaproducts directory where the dep.exe is stored.
If there are any switches to point to destination folder in which downloaded file will be saved?
p.s. sorry for my bad english - it`s not my nativwe lng. =)
We plan to add this feature to the future versions of Download Express.
Nevertheless, Download Express has the Windows wessaging API which allows you to add downloads to the program. It has the ability to set the storing path. We have the Delphi sample. I can send it to you if you want.
Sincerely,
Alexander.

Please look Main.pas unit for details.

Do you mean /PAUSEDURL parameter?
It works well, as usual.
Could you please write us more details on your problem.

Windows 2000 SP4
IE 5.5 SP2
DEP Version 1.6 Build 267 does not seem to work at all. When the select download location dialog pop-up, dep.exe would hog 100% CPU and sit there. Also when this happen, it won`t allow me to move the mouse cursor down to the taskbar (inorder to get to Task Mananger). I had to Control-Alt-Del to get to Task Mananger and end the dep.exe process.
Is IE6 required with this version?
Does this happen with the certain URL?
Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce this problem at our Windows 2000 system.
Could you please send us your Download Express settings?

The test version work very well. There is no more freeze up with the dialog. Command-line also work too :)
Thank you for the quick fix,
Slomo
BTW, is there a time limit with this test version? Can I use it normally or should I wait for an official release?
You can use it as the normal version. It doesn`t have time limits.
Thank you for your help.

Is the the "path to save"-command added?
Thanks!
Mass Downloader parses the command line for parameter "command=".
You can use the following command:
massdown.exe "command=Url=http://www.metaproducts.com/download/desetup.exe;Comment=Download Express 1.6 Release; Referer=http://www.metaproducts.com/de.html; Threads=7; Path=c:\testfile.exe;Mode=Start;Category=0;ExitWhenDone=true;DoNotRename=true;Dele
teWhenDone=true"
We will publish the full list of Mass Downloader and Download Express command line parameters shortly.
