Error message

When I try to download a file I get an error message sometimes.
Unable to load file: file name
Error writing index file: `C:\Documents and settings\install\Application Data\MetaProducts\Download Express indexes\2.mdw` GetLastError = 32

Dear Sir / Madam,

Thank you for writing us.
Do you have any disk activity monitor software or antiviral software which monitors disk operatons?
It seems that some other process opens this file and Download Express cannot write to this file.

i have the same problem using DE on windows XP
when i am logged in as a limited user

i know you (alexander) said

but i have no disk monitoring software
and i tried it with my antivirus turned off
and it still comes up with the same error
and with different files from a couple of sites
always after downloading about 161 kb

error writing index file `c:\documents and settings\*my user account*\application data\metaproducts\download express indexes\x.mdw getlasterror=5

(x being a number)

BUT i tried it logged in as an administrator and it works fine

so i tried changing file permissions for the DE directory in program files
and the directory that comes up in the error message
so that the limited account has full permissions for those directories

but still after 161kb of any file i get the same error except the title
(the number) of the .mdw file changes but i know that`s normal

so it must be DE, right?
