Error by download file from htaccess area

Hello, I've a problem by downloading a file from a htaccess area. I enter the username and password, but the dialog popup endless and I can't download the file. Using IE 7 directly download manager it works great.

Jan Allan,

Please excuse me for the delay.
According to the log, this server denies access because of incorrect username/password information.
Could you please try to re-type it?

Hi Alexander, that was the first thing I did and the error occur every time, in IE 7 and FF 2 too.

Could you please tell us how can we reproduce this problem?
Where can we register and get access to this file?
