Streaming Protocol Priority Order...

I was wondering if it would be possible to add the option to alter the streaming media protocol priority order? Currently I use the Firefox context menu to download "DeliverStreaming.asx" from the server. That file contains a link that uses the mms: protocol, so far so good - Mass Downloader has correctly extracted the link and connects to the server. At this point the asf header is sent, etc. etc. and the download starts via http???

I know that the server is able to stream the file via rtsp - which Mass Downloader seems to handle better based on my observations. I would like the ability to set the priority order for the protocols, thus allowing me to try to connect via rtsp before trying http.

Thank You for your time and effort. My 30 day trial is about to end, and I'm very pleased with the product.

Mark Tolman,

Thank you for writing us.
Could you please provide us with the download link? We need it for a test. Yu can publish it here or send it to support@metaproducts.com with a short description of the problem.
