Mass Downloader keeps crashing over a particular file

I'm using the latest release of Mass Downloader. Every time I try and get this file:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/shows/rpms/radio4/venusincopper.ram

MD either just stops downloading after ~3% or crashes out with a variety of error messages such as invalid pointer operation. Other files from the site download OK. Any suggestions?

Cheers

Duncan,

Thank you for writing us.
Could you please go to the Windows Start menu | Run dialog, type:

massdown.exe /L

and run this command? Then please start the problem download. When the first access violation message appears, please do not click the OK button - please find the c:\MD.LOG file first. Send it to support@metaproducts.com with a short description of the problem. Then you can click the OK button of the error message, and close Mass Downloader.

Thank you,

I have a same problem when I try to get a file from the following bbc site every time...

rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk:554/worldservice/worldfootball.ra

Download stops at ~69% or crashes with many errors like "Access violation at address 00401D07 in module 'MASSDOWN.EXE'. Write of address DE648418."

I have just sent you MD.log. I would appreciate if you give me any suggestions to solve this problem.

Thank you.

Have you got the Real Player gear installed?
I think it is needed, it certainly was.

I tried to download the file with setting high speed. Even with setting low speed, exactly the same problem occurs every time.

In the case of Offline Explorer Pro (trial), there is no problem to download the file at all. Therefore, if you code download program of MD similar to OEP, I suppose that there may be a key in the difference between two programs to solve the problem.

Thank you.
