Rightclick _outside md_ opens ftp-folderview
|F. Zimmermann||04/12/2006 01:05 am|
|I just realized that I cant open the normal dialog-structure with rightclick in a folder. (So I cant create new folders par example). Instead a massdownloader-ftp-folderview is opened. (It might be that the normal menu is visible for some milliseconds, theres a short flash of something like a menu).
Even if i leftclick on "Datei" ("Files"?) i get both, the normal dropdown-menu and the ftp-box from massdownloader.
This doesnt occur when md isnt started.
All I recently changed on my system is to install a monitor software from samsung (magic rotate) that implements additional entries in the rightclick-pulldown-menu.

Thank you for writing us.
Could you please tell me where do you right-click? In which window? Could you please send us (to email@example.com) a screenshot of this problem situation?

|I send the screenshots.
Just wanted to add that i am again impressed by your quick customer support - nowhere else one gets an answer as fast as in the metaproducts forums. :)
(Btw: Issue is annoying but not a major prob for me)

Thank you for screenshots.
What is your Mass Downloader version?
Did you try to uninstall this Samsung monitor software to find if it is the cause of this strange behavior?

|Its indeed a conflict with the monitor software (MagicPvt.exe, Magic Rotation, Samsung inc.).
I can handle the prob (dont need the monitor software installed while using md).

Thank you for your feedback.
Could you please tell me, where did you get this monitor software?
Is it available in Internet? We want to try to reproduce the problem.

You'll find it here: http://www.samsung.com/Products/Monitors/magictune/
and yes, it seems available for download 1 or 2 level down from that page.
