1. If the project to download gets rejected by the server (e.g. due to the url expiring after exceeding a timeout as with many file storage/archive sites) and the server redirects automatically to a failure webpage then the original url is changed in MD to the redirected failure url which means there is no longer any way to see what the original url was. The original url should always be preserved so that the user can re-visit the website and request the same file again.

2. If the project fails part way through and it is a one time use url (e.g. from yousendit.com) then when the user re-visits the site to request the file again, even though the filename being saved to the HDD is the same as the one that failed, MD downloads the file but fails to successfully finalise it when 100% downloaded if the original .mass file wasn`t deleted first (in MD or in Windows Explorer). It would be even better if MD could resume the file.

The original URL is preserved by Mass Downloader.
The "Restart from beginning" feature uses the original link to process all redirects.

Thank you for your report. We will check and fix this.
To resume incomplete Project using the other URL please open its properties dialog, change the old URL with the new one and click the Start button.
