I am sorry, i am probably being stupid now but i can`t remember if mass downloader usually does this.
I just started a download http://www.widestep.com/files/ek_setup.exe and then paused it and stopped it and it stopped but it still displays the speed at which it was downloading and the elapsed and estimated time. So i started downloading the newest mass dowder because i am using 3.0 SR1 and then i paused and stopped that and it did the same thing as my other downloader. So i continued a past download and paused and stoppid it and it did the same thing. Except i dont remember it doing this before and my other downloads which i havent continued in the last 10 minutes dont display the speed, elapsed time and estimated time in which they had before i stopped and paused them.
If this is normal, may i ask why it dose it?
Why does it display the speed and elapsed and estimated time in which it had before it was stopped. And yes they were stopped and paused. I checked and they arent downloading.

I apologise if im being stupid but i honestly dont know if this is normal

Dear Sir / Madam,

Thank you for writing us.
Mass Downloader displays this information during the current session for your reference. You know the speed and condition of download and can estimate possible time to complete download.

Is this a problem for you?

I understand the reason for displaying it when downloading and it is very helpful. But my download had been stopped so why should it still display the speed of download that it was downloading at when stopped and the estimated time that the download should be finished when it was stopped. By stopping it, and disconecting off the net and reconnecting means i wont be downloading at the same speed when continuing the download and thus wont have the download finished at the estimated time. The speed and estimated time should be reset when download is stopped.

No problem.
We will reset this information starting from the next version of Mass Downloader.

Thank you,
