We just released the first version of MetaProducts integration plugin for Mozilla FireFox 1.0.
You can download it from: http://www.metaproducts.com/download/betas/mpint.xpi

To install the plugin, please drag and drop the file to FireFox window using Windows Explorer. Then please restart FireFox application.
Now you can use the link right-click menu item "Mass Downloader: download this file." Also, FireFox will offer you to use Mass Downloader to download files.

I have just upgraded Mass downloader 2.3 and patched it with mpint.xpi by dropping it into the program files\firefox folder.
There is no change to the right click menu. 1 hour and everything short of a reboot, and still no joy.

This is one of ways Mozilla installs plugins.
Also, now it should offer to install plugin directly from the link at our server.

Sincerely,
Alexander

Dear Alexander

Cannot find mpint.xpi on your site. Have just started trying Firefox and it appears to ignore Massdownloader using only its own downloader that gives no indication of what is going on. I do not inderstand how Firefox/massdownloader integration is intended to work. Am using version 3.0.577. Advice please

best wishes

Peter.

Hey I was just wondering if you are going to add a Download ALL option to the Firefox plugin. I use this often and I hate having to open a page in IE to do this.

Drew,

Thank you for writing us.
Yes, we plan to add this to the future versions of the plugin.

Excellent, appreciate the reply. Nice to see software companies actually interacting with and listening to their customers.

I have been using Firefox extension 1.07 that came with MD 3.2 SR2 and it works great but when I updated my extension to 1.1.0 Firefox crashed each time I tried to download anything. After writing to support a week ago and no reply I reinstalled MD 3.2 and the 1.07 extension. everything is back to normal now but I have to watch my extension updates to make sure not to update the MD 1.1.0.

Thanks Alexander this version (1.1.2) seems to works just fine. Don't know about any email filter but next time I have a question will post to forum. The Mozilla extension page still list 1.1.0 you might want to change that.

Thanks again!
John
