Uninstall Mass Downloader

To test MD the trialware was installed. When testing was done an uninstall could not be found.
It was required to return the system to the state before MD install.
The registry was edited to remove all "mass" keys and all "downloader" keys, reinstalling Opera and IE6 to get back to some "Always ask before opening this type of file" control (Opera is OK but IE6 will not ask after a left click).
How can I return IE6 to the asking control?

Mass Downloader does not change this behaviour of Internet Explorer. This can be the consequences of the registry editing.

There are two ways to uninstall Mass Downloader.
1. You can use Mass Downloader program group`s shortcut "Uninstall Mass Downloader"
2. You can use Counrol Panel | Add/Remove programs | "MetaProducts Mass Downloader" line, click Remove button.

Dear Tof,

Thank you for your feedback.
This means that system locks a part of Mass Downloader and uninstall cannot remove it. To finish uninstallation please reboot your Windows.
Please write us about the result. Thank you.

janar,

This is a common problem with files locked by Windows...
Possible, Unlocker will help to erase MDHelper.dll:

Ok Lets see.
If youve uninstalled it, try reinstall uninstall, if it fails. Go to START /Run/ and type regedit Navigate to these two keys and delete both.

At first please run Mass Downloader and go to the Options | Integration | Browsers. Uncheck the "Add item to context menu" box and click the OK button. Then please check your Internet Explorer contexct menu.
