My pc recently had a hickup from which it seems to have recovered well, however DeskTool quit displaying some icons properly. The icons that I had used the Change Icon button for are all now displaying an icon of a blank pice of paper. Any icon that was associated with the exe file are still working fine.
I tried to refresh the icons, re-associate them using the Change Icon button and also chnged the skin back and forth, all with no luck.
I then uninstalled desktool, rebooted, ran a registry clean, deleted any left over files and then re-installed it. Replaced my backup .cfg file and I still have the same problem.
Any ideas? Windows 7 Pro x86 DeskTool v3.3
I suppose that Windows was installed to a different folder now. Please try to right-click a button, select Properties and change the button icon. For a good set of icons, I would suggest to browse to the folder where Windows is installed, System32 subfolder. Select Shell32.dll file.

Thank you for the reply. That seems to work and as such will save me a lot of time by not having to re-create my over-zealous toobar!
