Organize Projects in Folders and Subfolders<\/h1>

Offline Explorer Pro stores all Projects in the Project tree panel. By default, the Project tree panel is located on the left side of the screen; however, it can be hidden.<\/p>\"Project

To hide the Project Tree panel, on the Ribbon, select View<\/b> and click Projects<\/b>. Clicking Projects<\/b> once again will display the Project Tree panel.<\/p>

Note:<\/b> The content displayed in the Project panel depends on the tab that you are working in. For example, the Map tab or the Level tab.<\/span><\/h1>

    Create Folders and Subfolders<\/h3>\r\n

    If you have several Projects, you may arrange them into folders. For example, you can store all Projects downloading news websites in one folder, and all projects downloading photo galleries in another folder. You can do this by creating a new folder or creating a folder inside an existing folder.<\/p>\r\n

    Note:<\/b> You can also specify an alternative download location for the Projects that belong to a folder.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

    To create a new folder, follow these steps:<\/h4>\r\n
      \r\n
    • On the Home<\/b> tab, click New Folder<\/b>. A Folder Properties<\/b> dialog box will appear.<\/li>\r\n
    • In the Folder name<\/b> box, type a name for the folder.<\/li>\r\n
    • Choose the Download directory<\/b>. This is where your downloaded files will be stored.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

      By default, Offline Explorer Pro places all downloaded websites into the following: c:download directory.<\/p>

      To change the Download directory<\/b>, click Enable<\/b> and then click Browse<\/b> to select where you want to save the web content. Click Ok<\/b>.<\/p>\r\n

      The newly created folder will appear in the Project tree panel.<\/p>\r\n

      To create a folder inside exsiting folder, follow these steps:<\/h4>\r\n
      • In the Project Tree<\/b> panel, select a folder to create a subfolder.<\/li>\r\n
      • Hold down the Ctrl key<\/b> on your keyboard.<\/li>\r\n
      • On the Home<\/b> tab, click New Folder,<\/b> and then release the Ctrl key<\/b>. A Folder Properties Wizard<\/b> will appear.<\/li>\r\n
      • In the Folder name<\/b> box, type in a name for the subfolder.<\/li>\r\n
      • Select the Download directory<\/b>. This is where your downloaded files will be stored. By default, Offline Explorer Pro places all downloaded websites in the following: c:download directory. To change the Download directory<\/b> click Enable<\/b> and then click Browse<\/b> to select where Offline Explorer Pro should save web content.<\/li>\r\n
      • Hold down the Ctr key and click OK<\/b>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

        The newly created subfolder will appear in the Project Tree panel.<\/p>\r\n

        Rearrange Folders<\/h3>\r\n

        By default, a Project appears at the bottom of the list when it is added to the Project Tree. To rearrange your Projects and folders, click and drag the Projects and folders to a new location on the Project tree.<\/p>\r\n

        Rename a Project<\/h3>\r\n

        To rename a Project, follow these steps:<\/h4>\r\n
          \r\n
        • In the Project Tree<\/b> panel, select the Project you need.<\/li>\r\n
        • On the Home<\/b> tab, click Rename.<\/b>. Type the new Project name into Project name edit box,and press the Enter<\/b> key on the keyboard.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

          Rename a Folder<\/h3>\r\n

          To rename a folder, follow these steps:<\/h4>\r\n
            \r\n
          • In the Project Tree<\/b> panel, select a Folder you want to rename.<\/li>\r\n
          • On the Home<\/b> tab, click Rename<\/b><\/li>\r\n
          • In the Folder name<\/b> box, type a name for this folder and press the Enter<\/b> key on the keyboard.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>

            Rename a Subfolder<\/h3>\r\n

            To rename a subfolder, follow these steps:<\/h4>\r\n
              \r\n
            • In theProject Tree<\/b>panel, select the subfolder you want to rename.<\/li>\r\n
            • On the Home <\/b>tab, click Rename<\/b><\/li>\r\n
            • In the Folder name<\/b> box, type a new name for the subfolder and press the Enter<\/b> key on the keyboard.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

              Delete a Folder<\/h3>\r\n

              To delete a folder, follow these steps:<\/h4>\r\n
                \r\n
              • In the Project Tree<\/b> panel, select the folder you want to delete.<\/li>\r\n
              • On the Home<\/b> tab, click Delete<\/b>, and then click Folder<\/b>\tin the list.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>
